Earlier this year, a friend and I were out kayaking when we started talking about doing some kind of challenge. Perhaps we could to raise some money for charity. I some what flippantly said why don’t we just paddle around Cornwall. Little did I know, how far it was, nor did I really appreciate how much work would be involved in preparing for the challenge as well as planning charity nights and raising our profile as a team. I spoke to a couple of friends, who I thought may be interested in helping me in my challenge and managed to recruit two of them to accompany me and with this, The Wet Way Round was born.
